Hope

Here we come in staggered lots.

Time zones calling all the shots.

Nonetheless, we welcome you.

With cheers of joy and a tear or two.

For we have gone thro some troubled times.

Seen the worst of hate and crimes.

The decade past was filled with woe.

With every breath we said 'no more'.

Yet we look forward for what's to come.

Relief and respite and redemption some.

Or just plain old simple fun.

Either way the year has begun.

Lets do our best before its done :-)
