Master of the 'verse

Churning out these random notes ...

Are any worthy of becoming quotes?

Will these words make a mark?

Or will they remain in the dark?

Will someone ever recall my name?

Will there be any claim to fame?

Will this poetry be remembered?

Or, like life, will its days be numbered?

Will my thoughts gain any steam?

Or will this sonnet remain a dream?

I hope to create a collection of thoughts;

To leave behind a legacy of sorts.

I don't wanna be the master of the universe.

But can I just be the master of the verse :-)?!
