My life is not my own,

'Tis a gift from the One above,

To make it what I can,

With values and with love.

I hope to make it better,

I hope to do my bit,

I hope I have the patience,

The determination and grit.

For all my shortcomings and failures,

For things I cannot cope,

For all thats not in my control,

I only pray for hope.
