To all those, with whom I'm close, I send to you, this poetic prose:
As time extends,
We lose touch with friends.
Distances grow, as the world gets smaller.
Our friends fall short, as we grow taller.
With the motions of time and space,
And the never-ending rat race,
We forget those not physically near,
And let go of what we hold most dear.
'Tis said the world is shrinking.
And moving towards progressive thinking.
Yet, time and tide wait for no man.
We make our choices as best we can.
And along the way we lose touch.
Without realizing the loss as such.
Well its never too late to make amends.
And reconnect with long lost friends.
There's so much more to say and do.
Life is too short and days are few.
So here's to all whom distance has parted.
Lets try to relive the life we started.
Before we're referred to as the 'dear departed' :-)
